People who say things have "gone woke" react to the presence of black or gay people like they're infected with cordyceps. They also scrape the bottom of the barrel to find things to be outraged about like M&Ms. Its super common for people to use this sub to spread some bizzare agenda.
I wanted to comment on the cinematography (more so the image) of the 1923. There’s something unnatural about it. It’s a beautiful image - probably the most beautiful of all the current digital cinema sets today. But that’s just it. it doesn’t look like film. It looks like the next era of digital cinematography. 3.
The casting was spot on, the music, the scenery was breathtaking. I coudn't have asked for more. I even cried two times during the series and I usually don't cry ever watching television or in general. There was just something so real about Joel and Ellie. Thank you HBO and everyone who was involved to create this series.Take this scene from the game and the series. The former feels charged with subtext, history, and genuine emotion; the latter feels like two actors reciting dialogue from a screenplay. In this scene, the original carries better blocking, framing, and line delivery, whereas the adaptation comes across as slightly contrived and uninspired

TL;DR: The Last of Us ignore the basic principles of establishing character development to such a massive extent that it seems like amateur writing. In the last episode, we don't see a justification for Joel to change, and yet he does. People call that "character development", when it's simply flawed writing.
Just so you know, the last 10 minutes or so is where they talk about the show. The main things Troy said are as follows: He might prefer it to the game & he's thankful that the game is good enough that it can be interpreted and still stand on its own legs as a show

At least one episode dedicated to hunting legendaries. I’d say 7/8 is a bit extreme, I’d say 5 max can tell a good story with both Arthur and John. End S1 with the Braithwaite Manor mission and it would go down as one of the best season finales of all time.End of Sepinwall's review says he watched all nine. At the end of this particular review, it says Sepinwall got to see the entire season. 3rd episode seems very highly praised. Overall a highly positive review with praise given for writing (especially the 3rd episode), the production design, makeup and the casting.o3dDV.
