Make sure the key is set to OFF. Turn the headlight switch off. Turn the switch back to ON, then OFF again. Turn the switch back to the Auto position. Make sure the lights come on. Wait for the amount of time you want the headlights to stay on, then turn the switch back to OFF once more. The headlight delay should now be programmed.
Find some flat, level pavement next to a wall. With the nose of the Focus 25 feet from the wall and facing it squarely, measure from the ground to headlight center, (usually the chrome bulb cap inside the housing). Note that measurement, because you're going to mark the wall with tape horizontally at that height, minus two inches.

Evening All, My 2015 MK3.5 Tit X has decided that the drivers side headlight is going to start doing a dance as I drive along, and the dashboard is now telling me that its having a headlight malfunction. I have the full auto light package with the xenons. It is booked with Ford. Hopefully this is covered by the warranty!
It is the switch, even if you can hear a click. Borrow a digital multi-meter to test the electrical, remove the switch, and you'll be most likely to find that is the problem. As it is right now, it won't work with Xenons either. Be eclectic. ---The Complete How-To Archive--.

The most common fail area will commonly be the one most exposed to the elements, ergo, the connector right at the headlight, after that go for any stuffed in a corner to not get cooling air to it. Typically the pins in a headlight connector can give trouble.
